Some of the similar game theme genre listed below. I used to play Paratrooper and only saw Airborne! on display at a computer store in mid 1980s. I am pretty sure some of the authors saw PSE Desert Patrol cabs in action back then and some of the elements of Desert Patrol gameplay was inspiration to adapting their own style of gameplay when their games were being developed back then.
